Mon nom est Tristan Dénommée, je suis un étudiant en Science politique et pour la présente année scolaire, j'ai été élu au poste de Représentant 3e année francophone pour l'Association Étudiante des Études Politiques, Internationales et de Développement (AÉÉPID). 

Avant de commencer l’université, j’ai fait 5 sessions d’études en Administration au Collège Édouard-Montpetit, ce qui m’a valu une année complète créditée ici à l’Université d’Ottawa.  J’ai donc été admis en 2^e année.  Dès mon arrivée à uOttawa, j’ai essayé de m’impliquer le plus possible au sein de mon association étudiante.  C’est pourquoi, je me suis présenté pour le poste de VP aux affaires francophones.

Durant la présente année scolaire, j’ai été engagé par la FÉUO, votre fédération étudiante, comme Chef d’équipe de promotion pour le volet Social.  De ce fait, j’ai à travailler avec le VP Sociales pour promouvoir les activités organisées, néanmoins, j’ai assisté à quelques rencontres pour la planification de ces activités et j’étais invité à dire mon opinion sur ces dernières.  En conséquence, cet emploi est un bon tremplin pour la position à laquelle je me présente.

De plus, lors de mon passage au CÉGEP, j’ai été élu au poste de VP aux activités pour un comité étudiant politique.  J’avais à travailler en étroite collaboration avec le Président pour l’organisation de diverses activités comme des séances d’information pour les étudiants, des voyages pour assister à des rencontres avec des parties politiques tant au plan provincial que fédéral, etc.

Et me voilà aujourd’hui, à la veille de ma 4^e année, candidat pour le poste de VP aux affaires sociales.  Je crois personnellement avoir les capacités nécessaires pour être en mesure de faire de l’année scolaire 2009-2010, une année chargée en activités et haute en couleur. 

My name is Tristan Dénommée, I am a Political Science student and currently the 3rd Year Representative Francophone for the Political, International, and Development Studies Student Association (PIDSSA).

Before university, I studied 5 semesters in Administration at Collège Édouard-Montpetit; which gave me a full year credited here at the University of Ottawa.  Therefore, I have been admitted as a 2^nd year student.  Ever since I arrived at uOttawa, I tried to get involve as much as possible in my student association.  That’s why I have previously run for the position of VP Francophone Affairs.

During the present school year, the SFUO, your student federation, hired me as the Promo Team leader – Social which means I have to work with the VP Social to promote the events. However I also assisted several meetings in order to plan those events and I was welcome to express my opinion.  Therefore, my present employment has given me a concrete base to excel in the position I am running for right now.

Furtermore, I was elected as VP of Activites for a political student comity at my previous school (CÉGEP).  I had to work closely with the President to organize various activities such as information sessions for students, trips to attend meetings with federal and provincial political parties, etc.

And, here I am today, on the eve of my 4th year, candidate for the post of VP for Social Affairs. I personally believe I have the capacity to be able to make the 2009-2010 school year a busy one in colourful activities.
